Hello everyone this will be a general update on how things are happening post. So lets start with the first thing.
MomoCon
MomoCon happened this past weekend, and I have to say, it was quite insane. Not for my panel, that was actually quite low key, but the turnout overall. This convention hasn’t been able to run for nearly two years, but on Saturday the convention ran OUT of it’s Saturday badges and had to give out Thursday badges with holes in them to compensate. I was volunteering with the staff and this is very much a good thing. While MomoCon isn’t really much in terms of a for profit event, staging any fan convention costs money, so getting so many people this year in particular is hopeful since it’ll help make up for the two year deficit caused by the con being closed because of COVID.
The Panel
Panel was successful in that it seemed like it was a useful panel to people who attended. They were all authors and myself and Greg Burnham were able to give great information on the publishing process. Unfortunately J. Neira wasn’t able to attend.
More Events In the Future
Current plan is, I’m not entirely sure, but I do have one additional fantasy convention I’m trying to get set up for. This time I’ll be getting a full booth rather than just having a panel, which if it does go through will be excellent and I hope maybe some of you may come. If not, well I hope you see my books and content digitally. I’m still looking for ARC reviewers, which will give access to a free copy to the book in exchange for you reviewing it.
And that’s all for now. Thank you for reading.
